Positioning the Endorsement

When folding a legal document that is typed on legal sized paper (8.5” x 14”) (216mm x 356mm) one can use one of two methods:

·         the two folds resulting in three sections

·         the three folds resulting in four sections.

For any endorsement:

a.       Insert a new page at the end of the document and change that page orientation to Landscape

b.      Create three or four columns on the page as required.

c.       For the two folds, create three columns and type the endorsement in the centre column (the second column) of the page.

d.      For the three folds, create four columns and type the endorsement in the last column (fourth column) of the page.

Endorsements are printed on the back (side) of the legal document and then folded (as demonstrated in the video).
